Leigh has been with Southern View Media since January 2017. Before joining the SVM family, Leigh worked for several media outlets including Alabama Media Group, LIN Media, Lagniappe Mobile and WABB FM & AM.
Leigh has worked with clients all over the U.S. A few faves include 68 Ventures, Port City Industrial, Soul Kitchen, Mobile Fair, Bras for a Cause Gulf Coast, Alabama Deep Sea Rodeo, Complete Safety, HHM Health and Neustar.
Leigh is also an active member of the American Advertising Federation – Mobile Bay Chapter. She’s served on the Board of Directors for several years and held various positions including President, American Advertising Awards Chair, Fundraising Chair, Communications Co-Chair and Public Service Chair. Leigh has also served as a local American Advertising Awards judge and a judge for the National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. She also currently serves on the leadership team for BNI Mobile the Referral Source as well as being a diplomat for the Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce. Leigh is also an active member of Infinite Opportunities, a local non-profit organization who helps the homeless.

At the ripe old age of 12, Leigh decided that she wanted to be a radio dj. She was sitting in a 7th Grade Pre-Algebra class when her teacher hung up a poster that showed different professions and how much math was used in each of them. ‘Radio DJ’ required the least amount of math.
Leigh followed that idea through high school and college, and eventually was hired as a part-time Radio DJ at a local radio station running the Open House Party and Casey Kasem’s Top 40 on weekends. It was there that she was recruited by the owner into the world of sales. He brought her on full time as his Executive Assistant, and she helped him with national sales.
Leigh loved sales because of the customer interaction and relationships that she built with her clients, and she’s kept that with her throughout her career.
Leigh spends most of her time with her husband, Chris, and their kids Macie, Ty and Mackenzie. Macie is a junior at the University of Southern Mississippi, Ty is learning the HVAC trade, and Mackenzie is a freshman at Mississippi State University.
Leigh enjoys reading, sports, travel, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts (and all live music in general), and plotting to take over the marketing world with Michelle, her partner in crime (aka boss). Leigh loves living in Mobile. Her favorite season is Mardi Gras, and she’s quick to tell you that her city started it all.
